Inertia: The tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or a body in motion to remain in motion unless disturbed by an external force.
Intensity: Amount of degree of energy, strength, or force.
Interval Training: A training technique in which you alternate short, fairly intense spurts of exercise with periods of relatively easy exercise.

Isolation Exercise: Weight lifting exercise that stimulate just a single muscle group. Good for defining a muscle.
Isometric: Muscle contraction in which the muscle tension increase, but without change in the muscle length.
Isometric Exercise: Muscular contraction where muscle maintains a constant length and joints do not move. These exercises are usually performed against a wall or other immovable object.
Isotonic: Muscle contraction in which the muscle tension increase, with change in the muscle length.
Isotonic Exercise: Muscular action in which there is a change in length of muscle and weight, keeping tension constant. Lifting free weights is a classic isotonic exercise.
Kinesiology: Study of anatomy and mechanics of the human moviment.
Knee Wraps: Elastic strips about 3 1/2' wide used to wrap knees for better support when performing squats, dead lifts, etc.
