National Spatial Reference System (NSRS): A consistent national coordinate system that defines latitude, longitude, height, scale, gravity, and orientation through out the nation, and how these values change with time. The NSRS is developed and maintained by the National Geodetic Survey using advanced geodetic, photogrammetric, and remote sensing techniques.
