Metal: Copper sheets have been used primarily, although works have been painted on aluminium, iron, steel and zinc. Media suitable are acrylics, alkyds and oils. The metal sheets should be degreased and then given some kind of grounding. Paintings on metal are susceptible to damage by temperature change and if the sheets are thin, by careless handling.
