Clipping: This is when a player throws his body, from any direction, across or below the knees of an opponent. Basically you canít check or block another player below the knees. A player who does hit another player below the knees will be assessed a minor penalty for 'clipping.' if, however, an injury occurs as a result of the clipping, the player must be assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct.
