Macro Mode: Many digital cameras offer a 'Macro' mode. This mode changes the focus setting to let the camera focus on subjects that are very close to the lens. Macro mode is perfect for shooting close-ups of flowers or insects. When shopping, be sure to check how close the Macro mode lets you get — can you shoot objects as close as an inch, or only as close as five inches? The closer you can get, the more impressive such close-ups are.
